Odyssey 2

What: Odyssey Two
Role: Composer
Where: odyssey.ml
For this project, I created:
The full music composition for the announce video: thematic, cinematic, and designed to mirror the exploratory vision of Odyssey — a blend of wonder, tension, and the promise of new worlds.
Sound design for the interactive platform: from UI feedback and ambient textures, to reactive audio cues synchronised with user interaction and video events. This ensures that sound is not just a layer but an integral part of the immersive experience.
Scoring for all video assets associated with the release: crafting audio experiences that support the visual narrative, maintain brand integrity, and elevate the emotional impact of each piece.
Why This Matters
Interactive video isn’t just passive viewing anymore. With Odyssey, users are no longer mere observers — they become participants in a living world. That shift calls for sound that adapts, reacts and deepens engagement. My aim was two-fold:
Emotional impact: The music guides the viewer’s emotional journey - curiosity, suspense, discovery.
Interactive cohesion: Sound design reacts in real time, reinforcing the user’s sense of agency and immersion in the world Odyssey creates.
Outcome & Value
By aligning with Odyssey’s vision, the audio work enhances:
Brand storytelling and user retention: high-quality, immersive audio supports longer engagement and a memorable experience.
Technical excellence in emergent media: the project sets a new standard for how sound accompanies and elevates cutting-edge interactive video.
Audience connection: listeners feel guided, engaged, and co-participants in the world rather than passive viewers.
Looking Ahead
As Odyssey continues to iterate and explore the future of interactive storytelling, the audio foundations we’ve built will scale. The same themes, motifs, and design philosophy can adapt to new worlds, new interactions, and new forms of user control.
If you’re working on an interactive video, immersive experience, VR/AR environment or branded film and you’d like audio that elevates the medium - I’d love to connect.
