This album has been bouncing around in my head for a number of years. I wanted to do something along the lines of 90′s trip-hop and downtempo. Basically, the whole DJ Shadow Entroducing era of music.

I was lucky enough to be given Carte Blanche  to sample from a very eclectic library of music called “The Valentino Music Library” the music ranged from recordings from the 1940′s all the way up the the late 70′s. There is just a gold mine of samples to choose from.

Add to that the vocal talents of Reina Williams and Professor Elemental, the end result is a retro love letter to the music I still listen to today.
