The soundtrack in the Radical Piano rack extension is a song that was initially rejected by the producers for Labtv. They said it was too sad. Granted, it was my fault because they asked me for something emotional and well, I went to another place entirely.

A few years later, Ryan at Propellerhead heard it and asked to use it on the announce video for Radical Piano. I was like, are you sure? To that Ryan said, trust me. When he showed me the final, I was stunned. The imagery and tone Ryan captured perfectly matched the music and somehow, took it to a place that made it powerful and uplifting.

Since then “Sadness ;)” has also been used in a featurette for The American Way.
