Official Remix For “Gimme Danger” by Iggy Pop And The Stooges. Remixed by Josh Mobley and Matt Novack.
The remix has had three placements so far:
I’ll tell you what though, a lot of thought and care went into working on this version. No way I was going to do some kind of edm thing. Really what I wanted to accomplish was to make a version that was from an alternate reality were the stooges and fleetwood mac collaborated on making Gimme Danger. I feel like I largely succeeded. Although there will always be people that hold the original version as sacred and because of this, hate the remix. I’m cool with that because it means that there are still people out there that think music is important and not disposable.
